Reason i bought the truck- needed a DD that got 17-20mpg plus could safely tow the gooseneck. In the market of 2500s, the cummins fit those specs perfectly.

Planning on adding more stuff to aid in towing and power, slightly bigger turbo, injectors, Mag-hytec diff covers, airbags, bla bla bla.

Same year as ours, but can't believe your dash is non-cracked. Really glad, but dang ours has just shook apart. Sharp truck :beer

Thanks.

I think the previous owner might have replaced the dash, i think he mentioned it in his blabbling.

Have you had issues with death wobble? I know my steering and suspension links are shot. It Bangs and clunks BAD when i go over bumps or turn. Getting ready to drop $1500 in aftermarket suspension parts. Replacing the 4 links, 3rd gen dodge trac bar conversion bracket (gets rid of the stupid balljoint on the frame end), 3rd gen trac bar, steering brace, and 2" leveling coils. Oh and a steering box brace.

I have also heard that you can swap in a 3rd steering box and that should take care of your steering issue's.

No, but I am very picky and keep everything tight. It is a solid axle, it should drive like a ford. :p:

Ive heard of this, but theres zero proof.

Its not the box, but the way dodge setup the steering. From what i understand its basically trying to rip the box off the frame.

Thats one thing im going to look into, also heard that knuckles from a BJ ford D60 will bolt up... another thing i need to look into. Lockouts and dual piston calipers would be nice.

key word, should. What i would give for this truck to ride and drive like a new superduty
