As some of you know, I pulled a 351W/C6 out of a '78 Econoline van, and I decided I'm not going to go through the hassle of converting the trans in the Ranchero. So the C6 is for sale, a rebuildable core that does work, and I'm asking $150 firm on this. For any of you who are considering this for a 2WD project or a hot rod, the internals are a little more durable than in '80s C6 incarnations (but it does run type 'F' fluid), so PM me if you're interested.
Edit as of 10/19/09: I see that no one's even responded to this ad, but I'm patient, so I'm amending the ad to include the engine on this combo I've pulled, and make mention that I found out the Econoline they came out of was a '76 (which I didn't find out about until I tried to scrap the van; the title and van didn't match! What a headache!). I'm hoping someone in the Pacific Northwest needs such a combo to get a car, truck or van running. For $500, it is the engine, minus the 2bbl carb, spacer plate and dizzy, but comes with a brand new starter. The van ran and drove, but never overheated and had fair hot oil pressure. So if you're interested, please contact me at Handy_andy_cv64@hotmail.com or by PM here and on Fullsizebronco.com. To repeat:
