I'm Tom or Flat Tire...take your pick.

I've been doing alot of hauling more recently due to moving. From CA to ND mostly. Haul everything from a bobcat in a dumper, or cargo in an enclosed, to cars on a flatbed. Then there was the RV camper trailers. Been towing 20 years I'd guess. 7500 miles worth in June...busy month for me.

Started out with a full size Bronco as a tow rig. Moved up to borrowing dad's F350 460 CC dually, and later his F250 SD V10. Now I have a F250 SD CC 7.3L to handle the tow duty. Currently there are 10? trailers in the "fleet"-all serving that special purpose.

I'll be the guy you are passing along side the road changing a tire or two.

I wish you were a member of the fullsize forum. I think I am giving you a run for your tire changing crown. I've changed almost 20 since January. Welcome here :beer

Trust me...feel free to take it. I've had it long enough. However, I don't think it is something that can be passed on like good Karma.

knocking on wood and whispering so Murphy wont hear me...I've done well this year so far. Only have 5? including the brand new one with 1200 miles on it that is now a bumper pad donor.

Maybe it rubs off like bad karma? You move our direction from California and the next thing we know we start losing tires.

It is all starting to make sense hahahaha :p

We ought to make a tire blowout thread. Spectacular blowouts surely deserve their place.

How are you liking it out here in the midwest?

:flute: I dont know what you are talking about....

I have a few tow related tire issues I could donate although most are far from spectacular.

Now that I'm not doing the 8-5:30 for someone else six days a week, I'm really liking being here. Something different about long days when done on your own schedule...something I thought I could live without. I was wrong.
Good thing I really like the winter...seems there is plenty to go around.

Last trip we cut a valve stem, so tire was flat, but we did not blow a tire. So that is good news right.

Ha, that's what Audra said. It still counts. It was flat.
